In the media of photography and film, a visual and aural foray through various haunted places unfolds. This begins in the swampy waters of a fabled pond and continues through forests and bamboo groves, across cemeteries and informal garbage dumps, along walls, through underpasses, over bridges and beneath them, past war monuments and historic sites of execution, down into ossuaries, over gravel shores, and along riverbanks. Various actors, events and temporal episodes overlap in these places.
