Spirit Structures of Papua New Guinea: Art and Architecture in the Kaiaimunucene, 2024.

The book investigates the art and architecture of Papua New Guinean spirit structures through a multi-perspectival approach combining cultural and social sciences with architectural and spatial research. Examining mythological landscapes, systems of signs, social assemblages, and ritual spaces, it develops a spatial theory of the cultural cosmos associated with these structures. Their historical forms are subsequently situated within the wider context of the Anthropocene / Kaiaimunucene, opening onto more-than-human and more-than-secular ways of building, making art, and worldmaking.
